We answer the most frequently Asked Questions.
1.Do the excursions include bicycles?
Yes. All our excursions include the model bicycle according to the reserved activity (road, mountain, city or electric).
2.Is it necessary to reserve?
It is essential to book the excursions. You can consult the excursion catalog and choose the excursion on the EXCURSIONS page. The rental can be reserved but it is not essential. To rent you can go to our cycling stations in Pineda de Mar (Dr.Bertomeu street, 9), Santa Susanna (Avda del Mar, 14 next to the Hotel Don Ángel) or at the reception of your accommodation (hotel, camping ...).
3.Can I bring my backpack or luggage?
Yes. You can take it with you. If you want to store your luggage while you carry out the activity you can do it in our cycling stations or in the assistance vehicle if you are doing an excursion.
4.Can I bring my own helmet, pedals or shoes?
Yes. But in all our activities we provide helmets (free).
If you do a mountain or road cycling route, you can bring your shoes or pedals, we will adjust the shoe or pedal to the bicycle.
If you wear your shoes, you do not need to take your own pedal. We will install the one you need spd, spd sl, look keo. (Free).
5.What do I have to bring to rent and what should I wear?
To rent you need your personal identity document, your reservation or check-in at the hotel, camping, apartment or house.
For excursions we recommend sports shoes, comfortable clothing, sunscreen.
If you are going to do a cycling route, remember to bring cycling clothing for your comfort (shorts, jersey, glasses, drinks, energy supply….)
6.What experience should I have in bicycle riding?
The family ones are suitable for everyone; it only requires knowing basically the operation of the transmission (gearbox or plate changes)
- Those routes which use electric bicycles need a minimum of experience.
- Those that classified “beginners”, need a minimum physical and technical condition to climb slopes on the route to be carried out.
- Those classified as cyclists are aimed at more experienced riders.
7.What happens if the bicycle breaks or punctures a wheel?
If you rent a bicycle, you have technical assistance. On the rental ticket there is the phone number to request assistance.
If necessary, your bicycle will be replaced to continue with your rental.
If there is any incident on your bike while on an excursion, the guide will solve it in the most appropriate way. (Repair, change, transfer ...)
8.Is there a minimum or maximum number of people for an excursion?
Two people are required to make an excursion. If you are a single person, you can request a reservation for when there are more people.
The maximum number depends on the activity to be carried out.
Group activities maximum 25 people.
Excursions that require transfer to the beginning of the route, the maximum number of people is 8.
9.Is food included in the excursions?
Our excursions do not include food, unless specifically indicated in the description and reservation.
10.Do you provide photographs of the tour?
The guide that accompanies you will take photographs. If you wish we will send them free of charge via email or any electronic form at no cost.
11.Do bicycles have sizes?
All bikes are adjustable for your comfort.
Depending on the rental or activity chosen, we have all sizes, XS, S, M, L, ML, XL, XXL.
